Tesco Express Coming to the Richmond Centre

The grocery giant set to open in summer 2026

The Richmond Centre is delighted to announce that Tesco Express will be opening its doors at the centre later this summer.

The new Tesco Express store will be in Unit1A, overlooking Bank Place and New Market Street. This Unit was home to Argos and Index previously. Its arrival will further strengthen the Richmond Centre's retail and dining offering, joining popular national brands on Level 1 of the centre, including Nando's and Caffè Nero, local favourite Jamm Café & Restaurant and one of the centre's newest international retailers, Søstrene Grene.

The arrival of Tesco Express marks a welcome return of grocery shopping to the centre, providing a convenient option for shoppers, city centre workers, residents and visitors alike.
