Tesco Express Now Open at Richmond Centre

There’s a new addition to the Richmond Centre, with Tesco Express now open in Unit 1A, bringing convenient everyday grocery shopping right into the heart of Derry city centre.

The new store, located overlooking Bank Place and New Market Street, offers shoppers, local residents and city centre workers an easy option for picking up their everyday essentials while visiting the Richmond Centre.

Store Manager Jo is looking forward to welcoming customers through the doors and being part of the Richmond Centre community, while Centre Manager Emily Dixon said the arrival of Tesco represents a significant addition to the centre’s retail offering.

“We’re delighted to welcome Tesco Express to the Richmond Centre,” said Emily. “The store provides a convenient everyday shopping option for local residents, city centre workers and visitors, while adding to the experience for everyone who visits the centre.”

The opening also marks the return of grocery shopping to the Richmond Centre and adds another well-known name to the centre’s growing mix of national and local retailers.

Tesco Express at the Richmond Centre is open 7am–10pm, seven days a week, making it easy to call in whether you’re starting your day in the city, taking a lunchtime break or picking up a few essentials on your way home.
